Makeup collection declutter – what I got rid off and what not?
After binging some makeup stash declutter/cleanout videos from YouTube (like this amazing one by Trixie Mattel) and decided that it’s time to go through my makeup. Some of the makeup I had were way too old – I probably also kept some way too old makeup – so they needed to go. The ones that still looked fine and smelled fine are going to friends and family, rest are either going to be recycled (like MAC ones to back2MAC) or just thrown out (since it’s really hard to recycle most cosmetics containers). Ideas for my new home office
We moved houses in June and I’ve been paying a lot of attention in my head to my new home office – I have pictured the final look in my head so many times. I’ve been using this home office room for almost two months now and let me tell you that last Sunday was the first time I did anything to make this look more like the end-goal. Karttoja seinille
Olen jo pitkään miettinyt, että mitä meidän sängynpäädyn ylle oikein ripustaisi, kun tyhjä seinä on vähän tylsä. Tällä hetkellä se on vielä beigekin – toivottavasti ei kauaa, sillä pitäisi saada niskasta itseään kiinni ja maalta se harmaaksi. Mutta sain lopultakin idean, että mitä siihen voisi laittaa. Kartta – tai pari!

Mäntyportaiden maalaus
Koska olimme tosi järkeviä, päätimme tänä kesänä maalata meidän mäntyportaat. Ei siinä muuten mitään, mutta kun ne kolmenkymmenen asteen helteet osuivat JUURI meidän loman ajalle – niinpä hikoilimme hiotessa ja maalatessa portaita. En suosittele tekemään tätä vuoden lämpimimpinä päivinä!

Kodin muutos osa 1 – uusi lattia alakertaan
Meillä on ollut tänä vuonna aika monta erilaista muutosta tähän kotiin – osa pienempää, osa suurempaa. Aloitetaan vaikka sillä ensimmäisellä, kalliimmalla ja ehkä eniten koko alakertaa muuttavalla muutoksella, nimittäin uudella lattialla.
